my folks are from croatia. i have stayed a few times in livno, zadar and zagreb. this was when i was a kid and had no idea about motorbikes.

your pics make me think a motorbiking holiday would be awesome.

About landmines, we have a lot of them, suspicios areas are familiar, we have maps with areas with mines (sounds funny), if it is a suspicious area, you must not go off the trail, and you will be fine.

I was born in Livno
Croatia&Bosnia are great destinations,
beutifull and intersting, and all that in
a very small area (surface). You can take
it all in a week. If you are in good driving
condition

That was 2 years ago at Prokosko Jezero(Prokosko lake)close to Uskopje in central Bosnia.

Amazing country, I've traveled around in some parts of Croatia and it is high on the list of places I want to go back to. The coast road going to Dubrovnik would be a top 10 road ride and Vis was a great place to relax and scoot around. Beautiful country! Thanks for sharing your pictures.

I've been waiting for this report ever since riding through a bit of Bosnia last September on the way to Dubrovnik. I was with a group, and once I saw some of the Bosnia-Herzegovina countryside (and took an outdoor lunch of Cockta and Cevap) I longed (and still do) to leave the highway for the back country.

Absolutley inspiring!! The photos are great, makes me homesick.I am hoping to travel around the balkans in the next year or two. I am planning to leave from Belgrade, work my way down to Montenegro and then thru to Dubrovnik and so on. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us!
