Anyone own these boots? Trying to decide if I fit a 9 or need a 10. I am 9 or 43. In these boots 9 corresponds to 42. I found Size 9 on clearance, so no returns. What do you guys think? How does the sizing compare to other boots like Sidi or Gaerne?
I have one pair of Forma Adventure boots. They run small: I normally use 42 (EUR), but for this particular model I had to buy 43 (also EUR) for them to fit.

I wear a 9.5 and my Forma's are a 43. They fit tight, so I just wear them with a thin sock. They're about as waterproof as a screen door on a submarine :huh not worth buying IMHO. Find a set of Aerostich combats instead, well made and waterproof
Waterproof? You're kidding, right? They're not sold as being waterproof, and mine have been well treated with Aerostich's AquaSeal at least six times and still leak after 30 minutes in the rain.
I didn't realize that I could see these so close to me. It's not a retail store but call ahead for viewing. The street boots were really nice and comfortable. I found the sizing to be spot on however I didn't try the dual sports so can't confirm sizing there...Street boots example US9.9-5 43Euro ran true to size. Here's the other link I found that may help others out: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=827775
Cool. That's the website I was looking at before, real-rider. I think they sold the 42/9 size. I decided to order Sidi Adventure. More money, but hardly heard any complaints about them. Very good protection off road, yet reasonably comfortable on road and waterproof.
Just received my forma size 42 adventure boots and they fit me very well and I wear a size us 9. I have a pair of TCX Infinity boots and they are pretty much the same size. I was really surprised as to how comfortable they were out of the box.
I went to their location too. Picked up a pair of then Forma GT's in a 42. Nicely made boots and comfortable for the short time that I've used them. My problem is that they are lower than my old boots and I'm not able to touch the ground as easily with these boots. I've worn them twice so far and I've come to realize that either I find a solution to my height problem or I'm going to post them on the flea market and get a pair of Daytona MStar boots. Anybody use lifts in their boots to gain some height?
That's odd because the street/touring boots had a higher heel than normal to me :huh...I guess the GT's are slightly different... Very good quality btw.
The Forma's are probably average but I could use a little more height. I bought the boots before I bought my Tiger 800xc.
