Glad to hear the bike was found. I am amazed at the amount of great folks in Ireland who jumped on the cause to support you in a million ways (on top of all the advfolks here). No surprise the bike was recovered.

This was possibly the most interesting part of your trip so far. Great stories for future generations to hear from you when you are older.

    Enjoy Scotland. Great place too.

    YK

This story just gets better and better! Amazing that they got the bike back, even if it sounds like someony paid for it. Hope this does not trigger a bike hijacking business similar to the piratry near Somalia!

Ireland is quite small however, so that might have contributet significantly to the recovery - "loosing" the bike in the US or another big state would have been much worse! And now you even have a spare bike.

    Enjoy your trip!

+1. It is always good to have a contingency plan should any other bike troubles develop down the road. But really, what else could go wrong? Your just going for a quick spin around the block..... errr, or the world that is....:lol3

    Noah,
Whew, now I don't have to feel guilty about not sending you any money yet. :D
By the way, leaves are starting to change on the North Shore.

Dude, I've been watching this thread like a hawk daily, hoping to see a "recovered" post. Finally! Knew it would happen, as we all did :clap

That is called the "Power of Positive Thinking", and you Sir, are the perfect example of such.

Was jealous of your adventure before, now how do you possibly root for a fellow with TWO 690 Enduros?:hmmmmm:lol3

Git on your steed and ride! And then write, and then Ride some more! And take pictures, then type it out...and then ride again! Best of luck to you, a legion of ADV riders are with you!

Glad to hear that your bike got recovered...

Looks like your spare sprockets are still in the skid plate...

Having 2 690s... now that is a problem...

    Hi Noah,
Spent till 2am last night reading your RR. Wish I was going with you...:1drink

If you find yourself near Berlin in September, I can offer you a place to stay. And help with your bike as I was a bike wrench for 17 years.

Also, if you are still in Europe near the end of September, you should go watch the ISDE, It is in Germany this year and the Motocross Des Nations is in Belgium in October.

    WOW. Awesome Noah!!!!!

Everybody contribute to the Official ADV bike!!! Just a thought! Find somewhere to store it and let folks "rent" it:clap You get some money out of the deal to help offset the new bike, and we get something to ride with some pedigree:lol3

WOW NOAH! You must be beaming!! I'm thrilled that things have worked out for you. The best part is that any future problems will now feel like a breeze to solve. :D
Two 690's, a bunch of new friends, an amazing chapter for your book and 1000's of hits on your RR = I think you've come out ON TOP! :clap

I was thinking of something this. It would be nice to have a bike in Europe... it would be a great excuse to come back to visit all the new friends I've made. :lol3
