I pick up my first Sprinter tomorrow. It's an '07 144 with high roof, premium package, and window package.

Is anyone willing to share the joke about the antenna? :~)

I have been researching this for a while. They sell in gallons and you can reduce and paint out a HVLP.
I plan to do the hood on ESV one of these weekends.

I have done bumpers but with a spray can. Black car with a black plastidip bumper, easy as pie (mmmm pie).

Weekends like this make all the weekends building the Sprinter worth it.

I'm also experimenting with plastidip. Can't buy the gallon cans here in CA, but I did my grill and hub caps in flat black cans and it came off just as the dip your car YouTube videos. I'm also looking at doing it in larger acale

    Geek,

Have you (or anyone else) come up with a solution for stowing a helmet in the van? Do you use a hook, a shelf, or some type of cabinet? I was thinking of a padded cabinet up near the ceiling behind the driver's seat. Something that was built to size that kept a helmet in place while moving yet readily accessible at the garage at the track.

I just brought home my van on Friday. Let the enhancing begin!
