Northern VA Tag-o-rama!

Great grab! That area is a bit remote, and nighttime a bit well, unlit. :huh Well done.

I somehow missed including the historical marker as well as the East Lynn farm sign in the pic. On this tag, the answer was in the clues (my map had the structure at 20000 Airmont Road, Round Hill, Va):

Ali said that XDrag had taken him to an Airport, and then to Mont Weather. Ali wondered if he could find a place that combined both. . ..

Ali said," yes, yes, this road sounds like it combines both in seven letters (even if you have to use the french version of the second for a google hit).

Appreciate your intention to tag this morning, however . . . given the RAIN, no one 'cept maybe ORexpat, would ride out and grab him under these conditions.

So, if you wait 'til fairer skies, you're entitled to some understanding!

NovaRider - It took me awhile to put the clues together. The 7 characters clue is what sent me on my way. Normally, I'm a little quicker, but for some reason, my mind wasn't clicking like it normally does. Thanks on the congrats by the way.

XDragRacer - I rode my scoot in today and was actually in the process of Tagging Ali, until I noticed I was about ready to tag real close to a school bus stop. So I reluctantly decided to not tag. Especially when I looked up and a kid tromped right by me in the rain. So Ali will get tagged, but I think I'll wait till later in the day.

Ali is with me at work right now.

Ali had been carted around quite a bit over the past week or so. From the mountains, to the airports and places in between. So we decided to take a little journey together. We just finished crossing the end of the old bridge (clue) and saw a place we we could get a little exercise, and if we could also find some books to read up on current events or do some studying on the places Ali and I have been. Ali was especially interested in doing some chin-ups (clue). It was at the end of the old bridge that we found just the place.

A late-night run might be in order for this one. Shouldn't last long at its current location. Course, tomorrow might be good too.

Totally bruce'd me on this one. :) I even saw you as I turned onto Old Bridge. You were turning off old bridge onto 123.... I thought to myself, I bet that guy got Ali... Sure enough.

Next time.

I'm sure you will get to the next tag quick enough. Just be warned, I'm going for this current Tag if no gets its quick enough.

I know this one --- but bike is currently out of action.

Was trying to remember, thinking that HBN once did a non-motorized grab (in other words, on a bicycle). But that seems too much like work.

Holy smokes, there isn't a spot left on the map!!!!

HBN has done non-motorized two-wheel grabs, but not at this site . . .

I saw what looked to me like a bright colored Vee or Wee turning right onto Old Bridge from 123, I thought to myself, wow, wonder if that ride's going for Ali? Sorry.

Enlarge a particular area of the map and you can find some virgin territory, at least, some place previously un-tagged!

As to "virgin territory," see, we had these Civil War cannons at my university; the legend was, if ever there walked by a . . . oh, never mind!

Inquiring minds want to know what the legend was, it might make for a good tag line!

he was hanging out at the Park and Ride on Minnieville Road by the Chinn Family historical marker, so I guess he really wanted to get a lift someplace. I obliged.
