Don't you think you have a up and down moving brake pedel when the rear wheel goes up and down?
And, is this a pushing system, looks like it but maybe i'm wrong?

You make an interesting first comment, something I'll have to look into.

    Pushing system, I don't follow?

your brake rod is under compression when you actuate the brake, the way it's set up right now.
I'd strongly recommend you stay with the stock actuation, which is tension. The lever on the cam needs to be pointing down, not up.
The way it is right now you'll end up with flex in the rod unless you make it much bigger in diameter.

Yes I get you... I only notice it was up. I will have to be in touch with the fab guys and make it spot on. Not an overly big job but must be correct.

So this is the complications that arise with custom work I guess.

redesigning your rear brake actuation will be a bit of a chore.
Considering that most of your braking will come from the front I'd leave it alone for now.
Verify that you can't bend the rod by normal actuation with your right foot while sitting on the bike, i.e. normal riding position.
If it doesn't bend, see how well the rear brake works the first time you ride it and decide from there.

I just spoke to them and were 100% aware of my concerns. They said they had thought about it and went on to explain something so technical that it went completely over my head. They also said they had a certain amount if adjustment that I would not cause a problem, everything was checked over and will work fine. I will have to take their word for now and test it at a later stage. I have faith!

...if they work. If they don't work, I can think of some things that are better.

70-100 % of your stopping power comes from the front brakes....so you only have a 0-30 % of crashing because of the rear brake....:D

Hahahaha my chances are good but still haha! I hardly used the rear brakes when I used to ride it and even my daily bike I use the rear only for low speed stability, round abouts, u turn etc etc..

I like it...... make sure the little well has a drain, otherwise, water in tank if it rains on it
