38-45 depending on how driven. 200 miles on a 5 gallan tank.

I agree completely but these bikes look pretty sweet in all the colors on this thread. The ducati matte black on that naked k1100 shown earlier is over the top.

The other color I really enjoy is the bmw OEM color that is a black/green metallic. What color is that Duck? [IMG]

Might be Duck out for a test ride on a sellers K bike or he's forgotten about the first 100 miles rule for breaking in new tires....I'm guessing.

K bikes ruined my life ....

I used be a normal chopper/cruiser type guy for 15 or so years, then took a '85 K100rs for a little 2hr test ride one Saturday (back in '96) and came back to the dealer on Monday with cash in hand.

The following summer after getting "pushed into it" by local Beemer crew, I did 3 track days on it and got hooked.
Sold the K-bike to go racing ....

Couple of years ago, this beauty wondered into my garage

and since I've never been accused of practicing monogamy, I "just had to" pick this up for my kid

Yep, I hear those violins playing in the back ground. I think your passion is directed appropriately. Always wanted to do a mellow track day. Knee dragging on a K .....that sounds very appealing to me. Beautiful bikes bye the way and I am available for adoption in case your son decides he has other interest. :D

eh, I wasn't all that quick back then, but I got a little better. Its just as much fun to drag valve covers on Airheads.

Nice. Would be elevated to very nice with a 75S belly-pan though.

Usually 45-50 although if run at 60 mph and tuned well you can get into the upper 50s.

ATTW, I agree the S chin spoiler cleans the underbelly nicely. I think it is difficult with the engine guard to install. I'm certain others have managed it. Very nice K75 with the upgraded side cases. It's a keeper.

It appears Larry was a little busy on Saturday rebuilding a friends bike and received some of the parts for this build.

Pretty sure that K1100RS picture is faked. We discussed it a while back at K11OG.
