Here you go Albie, if you've never been there. Great place and semi casual. Miles James (James at the Mill) is partnered in it. We like it a lot. http://28springs.com/
Actually what Mr. Magoo should or could be saying, if you are originally from north of I70 Is we have a day here or there all winter long that you may not be able to ride. [:0) And it's not really that you can't but without studded tires getting up the hills on those couple of icy days gets tiring.
Putting some thought in adding fuel capacity to the DRZ. Replace the tank with a Clarke or add a Rotopax to rear rack? Could add a 1.75 gal pack and get more capacity with less money, plus it is transferable to other bikes. What is the experience here? Pro's and Con's?
Tanglewood Cafe: Chili = Chili (with beans)!!!! Pretty decent. Sandwich was good, but tiny. Given the popularity of the place among the younger crowd, their brews must be good. Chucky and Martha got me, Albie and Toyman to gather .... thanks! We missed you Ted
1431 S. School Ave FV,AR And by the way a friend of mine went to the Mudd Street Cafe and they really enjoyed it.
I have not yet been to tangle wood, ive heard the brews are good. plus this lady is performing there tonight (for free) http://tiffanychristopher.com/
I've got a Rotopax. It's nice to have a little extra fuel when needed. It's definitely a stout little can, but the nozzle kinda sucks. (press in for flow) and part of the locking mechanism has broke on it, but it still works, just doesn't lock. Also, I have it on my rear rack and I'm not worried about strapping stuff on top of it. Having said that, if you really need extra capacity all the time, I'd go with a new/bigger tank.
Yep, the barley pop is good (home brew and micro brews), the sandwiches are really good, and Tiffany is not too hard on the eyes. Had a crush on her for years, but she likes girls as much as I do...
Wow, these things are uber light when you strip off all that pesky bodywork and gas tank. I think it weighs about the same as the DR.
that makes sense then, since Mama Deans was closed, they spied the first place within proximity that served food! :dg
Get both. I actually prefer the IMS tank on the DRZ as it also acts as a radiator guard. The roto paxs are nice because they can be left at home when not needed. But you don't always have to top off the tank either. I have both the IMS and some rotopaxs if you want to look at them before ordering anything.
