167 miles down to Tar Hollow and back. I found a few gravel roads and a bunch of renegade / unmarked trails. I explored as much as time allowed. Some photos:

No that's the longest one I got , got 'em in 3/8" and 1/2". Perfect length for transmission bell housing bolts back in the 70's and 80's. Good eye.

I have a couple like that, one is too long to fit in my toolbox. Top bellhousing bolts on jeeps take one of those, a u joint, a 6 inch extension, and one of those reverse torx sockets. Or, a holesaw through the firewall, which is what I usually do.

If I head much further south than that, I'm afraid i'll hit the Mexico boarder and there'd be no turning back! I'd LOVE to get down there and travel Mexico and Central America.

The Ridge Inn in Laurelville is good if you're down there again, love their sammiches and super nice folks too.

I'm not bitching. mind you, but I was uncomfortably hot in full gear yesterday.

I bought a mesh jacket today... first I've owned in over a decade of riding. WTF took me so long?

Jeez. That's all I've owned for street use. Granted they have liners, but leather is just too damned hot for me to use.

What'd you end up with?

What did you go with? I picked up the Tourmaster Sedona last year and also wondered what took so long!

I have a Tourmaster Air Intake II and really like it. Was great yesterday almost like wearing no jacket at all, and can put waterproof/wind proof liner in if it's down to about 60 degrees, down to about 40, just add the insulated liner, and colder then that long johns and a flannel shirt. Good system and if it does warm up during the day you can peel layers off and still be comfortable.

I went for a night ride on the WRR last night before the rain started. Was even a little warm because of the humidity then.

Have you guys seen this chart from Aerostich? We have more riding days than the guys/gals in Texas because of the heat down there in the summer.

They could buy one of those airconditioned race suits.
