The OLDEST photos of you on a motorcycle

This was the 1984 KZ700, my second bike. And my first new one.

Not riding it at the moment, but when I figure out that the zener diode has a half short I'll take it for a thrash. Probably early '77, I'd been riding for 7 years, and certainly not my first bike, but one of the few times someone caught me on camera. The short hair was an unusual look, I'd just cut off my long greasy knotted hair. That's '64 Rickman Metisse with a '73 T100C engine.

I was living there with my mom, grandmother and brother waiting for my dad to get home from Vie
t Nam. The local Shell gas station was having a raffle and you got a raffle ticket every time you filled up. Grandma would fill out a raffle ticket for each of her grand kids. And low and behold I got a call one day saying I won a Mini trail 50. My very first bike and I have been riding off and on ever since. Currently on a 2000 KLR.

Obviously this was not my first motorcycle.... or the last...

I was just about to start a thread just like this! Good thing I did a little browse first...
My family was never really into motorcycles, but our neighbor was. This is me, maybe 1977-78, bombing around the high desert on his 50. A seed was sown very deep in me that day.
In 2004, I pulled the trigger on a KLR. Eight years and four bikes later and I can say I'm addicted.



I'd kill to get my hands on this bike again.

I'm 26, so these aren't from that long ago (~20 years), but they're both bikes that belonged to my uncle who still rides a BMW. I think the second one is a K100. Not sure about the first but probably K-something.

Spring of 76 - we were shut down for spring thaw . I went to N Illinois to help my cousin on his farm . While there , I bought this 160 from his dentist , for 50 bucks !!

Just rode the hell outa it , there . Hauled it home , to Montana , thrashed it here for a couple years , before it died . Had no mercy for the thing ( sadly ) wish I could redo that part !!

Not my first bike -I was a freshman in high school , when I got a,well used , trail 90 Honda, with about 2,000 miles on it ! I just can't find any pics of the others -camera's were not as plentiful then ?

This was just the funnest bike I ever had !!

Me, 1988 or so? I was 6 years old, my little brother on the back... camping on our grandpa's property near Cashmere WA... Miss that place! it was a fun 40 acres to learn to ride on during the summers

Post that on facebook today as a recent shot and get a visit from the authorities. I long for the old America. Nice pic BTW

This is me in 1982 at Saddleback Park when i was about 8 years old. This was my well abused KX 60. I still have those riding pants in the closet.

man I really like seeing the pics of the older bikers and styles,some make me laugh ,their just awesome.I bought an old issue of a uk bike magazine from 1979 recently(the year i was born)everybody's rockin the bell bottoms,and beards ,lol,wish I was around back then
