    That photo looks really familiar. If it wasn't for the Vance & Hines pipe, I'd suspect that it came from the Buell website. :scratch

    Yeah, it put my '98 S1W to shame. The dealer wasn't too keen to let it go, as I recall. I sold it to a guy in Iowa who stuffed an Aerocharger Turbo under that fairing! Haven't seen/heard of it since?

    Aerocharger? There's a reason they went out of business. It's too bad they didn't last long enough to perfect the product, though.

    I think the guy with your old bike painted it VR1000 colors
    He brought it a couple of my Buell events in Waterloo about 5 years or so ago.

    Another view of my tracked '96 S1.
    Still tons of fun after 46k miles of abuse. Only ever seen routine maintenace; filters, oil, tires etc. and a stouter new-style primary slipper. Still using it's original belt.
