Weather looks to be getting better. The forecast temps for Asheville this weekend are upper 60's for highs and upper 40's for lows. Cruso will be a little cooler seeing how it is 1000ft higher.

You may be "shacking up" in the cold wet grass if your jaws keep flapping like that ;)

The bike will be at the meltdown, not sure if they will make it to Cruso. By the way it is a '74 3 1/2!

Seems like about every other bike trip I have a minor medical issue usually involving blood loss or some other inconvenience within 24 hours before departure.

Got it out of the way first thing this morning. :D While pulling a plant out from between fronds of a bayonet plant, I let one of the spikes barely stick my forearm. It also barely stuck in a large vein causing a rather large inclusion to pop up within seconds and a jet of veinous blood to squirt out the tiny hole in the skin. At first glance I thought it was arterial, but then noticed the color and the fact it was only one squirt from the inclusion.

Whew! Glad that's out of the way now and I can finish final preparations presumably without further incident. :lol3

hardwaregrrlAnybody riding off road on Saturday? Not gonna be able to get there till late morning.[/QUOTE]

How long is the road you mentioned ? It looks to be across I 40 beyond the camp. I will probably ride up and back Sat. I can decide whether to ride the Guzzi or the GS with a time frame.

He couldn't see the bush because of his current facial hair configuration would be my guess (which explains a lot of his pre-rally injuries)...one day he's going to suck his face into a final drive...:lol3
