Hopefully in North America, free trade and all, not in some communist place:evil. If US-made, is a certificate attesting that included for shipment to Canada? If so I am ordering one today.

    Thanks

    Hi Bill,
    They are made in California.
The parts and components are not 100% of North American origin, but I did the best I could.
The Customs form attached to the box will say US made.

P.S. I'm currently using Duracell Professional batteries, made by a division of a Canadian company in Toronto.

    Thanks!

Following the harmonizer thread for a long time now.

Glad to see it's now on sale!
Before I order it, any idea of what kind of taxes I can expect if it's getting delivered to the Netherlands?

Should be close to none (especially if there is no/lower price stamped on the box), but I haven't got that much experience in ordering something from the US.

Great work on the Harmonizer btw!
Hope it can replace my TwinMax soon :rofl

    Hello sir,
The Netherlands imposes no import duties on items valued below 150 euro.
They do charge a VAT (I think it's 19%) on items over a 22 euro threshold.

Here's a link to some general information. I've sent you a PM to give you more detail.

    Another one in the UK.

Mine arrived today Grok. It had been pulled up by customs. At least we now know why it took so long.

set my Airhead carbs in a few minutes. Fantastic piece of kit. Well done and thanks :clap

Grok, you sir are a genius, The harmonizer is the best sync tool I have ever owned Simply the Best:deal

I used the mercury sticks for years and thought they were great (but could only do a non loaded sync)

The twinmax never gave the results I wanted (would not stay calibrated, had to switch the hoses to recheck after adjustments were done.)

The harmonizer is by far the simplest and most accurate, I connected the hoses did a few small adjustments, took the bike for a ride watching the readout, noticed I was real close, made a few more adjustments (very small ones) road it again with an eye on the display. the marker stays in the middle all the way., result the GSA has never been this smooth.

My hat is off to you Grok, you have made the best sync tool I have ever used :clap

    Customs! D'oh!

Rascals they are. Thank you very much Rob!
You were the first one to order a Harmonizer in the UK.
Thanks for the vote of confidence and for being a pioneer!

    Hey, Grok.

Just thought I'd let you know that my Harmonizer arrived. I've had a little leg issue the past couple of days so I hadn't been up to my office/shop. Made it there this evening, though, and there a box from Far Horizons sat on my desk. It's probably been there a few days, so I can sincerely report to the no doubt huge throng of upcoming customers you are going to have that you ship *FAST*!

Great service, and I appreciate it.

Don't have any of my bikes that need synching at the moment, so I haven't used it. I did pull it out of the box and set it next to my early model (square box) TwinMax, and I have to say on appearance alone it is a bit like comparing an old VCR to a BluRay DVD player. The transparent case is truly a cool idea, adding a lot of character to the Harmonizer, and it's so light!

Truly looks a wonderful device, and I can't wait until I get a chance to work with it.

    Thanks! :D

In the video, are you using "Gauge" mode or "Balancer" mode?

I don't see the smiley face. A smiley face on a new tool is one of those "must have" accessories!:evil

Looks like another tool I might just have to buy!

    Thanks

    Hello sir,
I am using balancer mode in the video. The smiley is toward the bottom left of the display, between the battery voltage icon and the millibar numeric display.

The video can be set to higher resolution (720p) and can be viewed in full screen. But I must admit it isn't a very good quality video. I'm working on better ones :)

P.S. I had a Hodaka Ace 100 in my youth. Cool bike!

Yay! Ordered 27 July. Arrived today. Now for the test ride on the twin! Way better than a liquid type. Looking forward to actually setting the base reading on the FJR. :clap:clap

I received mine the other day and used it on my R1100R this morning. Fantastic! It allows for fine adjustments that could never be done with the Twinmax.

You realize you blew the bottom out of the used Twinmax market. :rofl
