    Greetings,

Can anyone give a good estimate of when the leaders will come thru the last pit stop No 18, north of La Paz? Nov 18th?

    Thanks,

    CW

There are no assigned pit areas and pit service clubs/groups all pit in slightly different areas. You will need to give a race mile that the particular pit service you are are talking about is using as their pit#18. JCR pits?, Baja Pits?, Mag 7?

Rule of thumb is use a 60 mph average speed. First bike goes off at what 06:00?, first car at 11:00? If you want to see them for sure get there an hour early.

    Great Pics of the bikes!

Our of curiosity what radio/comms are teams running? I figure there is a big difference between having a helicopter chase you and your buddies in a pickup...

Just a lack of riders and money. We lost some key people and couldn't replace them. We have been trying to make it work, but there is no way we are going to do it competitively with only four riders.

We were testing the bike last night and finally came to the realization that we were trying to force it to happen and that's not a good thing.

That sucks. My team has been at that decision many times throughout this process but luckily I'm stubborn as hell and can convince my other personality to race. :lol3

Yeah, O'Neal/Winkleman team. I just met one of your guys last weekend, Boyer, Bill, Bob?

One guy bailed at the first whiff of financial crisis, no warning or anything, then Mike Korenwinder started having chest pains at the gym and ended up having 2 stints put in a couple weeks ago, we found some guys but then, and I don't want to go into details, we had another rider quit at the last minute. We tested last night, then had a little conference and decided it was time to throw in the towel. I am pretty bummed.

Me and my chase guy are going down to Loreto to help chase for our 21 team. And drink.
