Several other states have started Tag O Ramas' so why not one from TEXAS!

    Rules are easy...

    <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

#1 - Find the tag and reproduce the photo (as best as possible). The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a tag, but somebody else posts their picture first, you lose.

#2 - Take the tag to a new location, get the photo and post it here. Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located. Try to place the tags in interesting locations, maybe a bit of history that can be found down some nice twisties.

#3 - Tag must be a) findable and b) not placed on a dirt road. Maintained gravel is OK, but make sure to let folks know that gravel is required to get to your tag. We don't want to exclude those who don't like to get dirty.

#4 - File photos are NOT permitted. You gotta ride to play this game.

#5 - The motorcycle in the picture must get to the tag location under its own power.

Now that the rules are taken care of, here is the first tag.
    <o:p></o:p>

    Let the fun begin!

This one isn't too hard I'll give one hint for now, and more later if everyone is stuck. Should be pretty easy, all you gotta do is:

Mine! along with a couple of friends, including one female rider... soon to be nOOBS here to the ADV family!! I knew the place had banker hours for the information/tours... but I had no idea the block would be gated?!?!?!??

There was no locks on the gate... So the other two held it opened, as I hauled ass down there for a few shots...

I was not sure if Pics from the front sign would count?? Since I was able to pull it off.. I would vote NO!

    Question....

So if I grab a tag today... what's a reasonable amount of time until I need to have the next tag posted?

Might not get out to where I want to put the new tag until the weekend..

Don't want to n00b the game too bad.. What's the etiquette? :ear

This is how it's done! Inasmuch as I was riding right past your tag this morning, I decided it was too easy not to "TAG".

Then I continued on to my original destination, which should be really easy, except that there are 8 of them, and all you need to do is figure out which one this is.

Here's your hint. If you draw a line from my home to the tag in Keller, and then keep going another 50 or so miles in roughly the same direction..........

And now for the new challenge.........

Ok, ladies and gentleman, who's going for it?

I still want to know what Ms. Etiquette says is the appropriate length of time between taking a tag and posting the next tag, assuming a rider might not be able to do both in the same ride...

:ear :ear :ear :ear :ear :ear :ear :ear :ear :ear

Or.. is it a requirement to post the new tag at the same time you grab the previous one?

:ear :ear :ear :ear :ear :ear :ear :ear :ear :ear

Help a brotha out and there might be one more to play the game... howaboutit :dunno

It is located in my hometown. Just west of our beautiful town square, rode by it today on my way to get new license tags. Did not have my digital camera and I am a photog. Go figure.

Im pretty sure you can take as long as you like...

But, in doing that... you encourage another to steal your thunder!
So that you gotta start over... from even further away :rofl

That would be my goal anyway :evil

This is the whole name of the game.. in being discrete with the hints.
To be the FIRST to MOVE the TAG. Not only to grab the tag.
Making the other participants have to re-plan thier attack.
