I would be nervous walking along that bridge and you ride a 600 pound bike, you have nerves of steell

    Thanks for the nomination Manny!
Let 's cross it together next time you're here.
So that you can say.... that's me crossing the bridge.... :evil

    Thanks for your comment vanveen!
It would be easier and faster paced crossing the bridge if I used my tiny YBR 125G.

For those haven't seen the video of the Touratech Travel Event 2012 in the Phils last March 2012....check it out!

Just got back from the PI, had great trip and already planning the next trip. Unfortunately I didn't ride a motorcycle except in a tricycle. Where is the best place to buy a used motorcyle on Luzon (especially in northern Luzon)? My dad is building is more townhomes in Dagupan City and now have a place to store a motorcyle now.

Btw I took a lot pictures and let me know if want me to post of them.

    Thank you for posting scrappyscooter!

Please do upload the pictures you've taken to show other inmate your experience here in the Philippines. Dagupan City is a very hot and humid place because it is near the sea.

    Cheers!!!

    Nice Pics...

Very inspiring for a newbie in Adventure Riding like me.

I'm racking up the mileage on my GS and preparing myself for the 2014 BOSS Ironman Challenge

Meantime, I guess the Touratech Run this coming weekend serves as my dry run.

    Hi Fellow ADVriders,

I'm Tim and will be retiring in the Philippines later this year from the US, we have a place in Manila and Batangas and we are commuting across every couple of months at the moment.

I have an XR200 in Batangas and am looking for a bike shop where I can buy parts/accessories for it, like lights, Bar risers......i'm not sure if the parts from the Honda CRF here in the US will fit?

Any suggestions? When I move I will hope to bring my BMW G650GS with me, looking forward to moving

    thanks for any advice

    Tim

I am glad you found your way to the Phil Adventure Rides thread!!!

XR200 parts are available. i can arrange for them to be shipped to you. After putting those bar risers you need a longer clutch cable too.

Welcome to another edition of....... THUNDERDOME!!!!!

Thanks Herc and great job on the forum here.

Will drop you a note on the risers etc. Is there a store I can get them from to save you the trouble, if not thanks for the help.
