My favorite, cause she has 77112 miles on her without incident in 3 years. It's an 09......

And she hauls all my crap without complaint.

I was writing a ride report for our latest trip and got a lot of pm's with questions about maintenance. Some saying that's a lot of miles for a bike without major breakdown. There were 4 in the store when I picked her up. Guess I picked the right one.I expect to reach 100000 by spring and buy a new one. If she breaks down by then.

I got onto Suzuki when my dad was sick of fixing my old Honda many years ago...

1st was a (1995) DR125 - The gutless wonder, I only kept it for one season
    [IMG]

Traded it in on a used (1997) DR350
    [IMG]

Sold the DR350 when I moved in with the wife. Later when i got back into bikes I picked up a (2003) DR650
    [IMG]

Had it for a very short time and the timing chain broke. I liked the bike so much I traded the blown bike in on a brand new (2011) DR650 and here I am now...

I have had a lot of luck with Suzukis and hear nothing but great things about the ones I haven't tried. I'm currently a proud owner of 3 zooks.

Here is my weekend purchase. I've been wanting a V-Strom 650 for a long, long time and I finally bought a 2004 with all the accessories. I didn't get much riding done before Sandy started making it rain sideways.

This is me & my 2003 DRZ400S. What a fun, dependable bike! This one is going up for sale in the spring now that I have the V-Strom.

And last but not least my 1998 GS500e. Yep, the orange one! This bike has been fun but it too is headed to a new home now that I have my Wee.

To answer the original question - I don't! That's why this one is kept company by a Honda, Kawasaki, Aprilia and several Yamahas!
