No coastal pics this weekend...hopefully I'll get some nice ones from RDV in Laurel Springs NC. I am sealing a couple HUGE canvas prints as I type...

Well, not a lot of picture taking lately. I have, however, been working on this beauty:




Since this was taken, I did manage to organize the wiring mess in the headlight bucket enough to get the headlight in place No wonder the headlight is so big. They needed a place to stuff all the wires!! All the controls and mirrors are mounted and snug in their appropriate places. Notice that trickle charger? Well, it has a de-sulfation mode...which is very bad for LiFe batteries like the Shorai. SO, I needed a new Shorai, and a chain, and the gauges need to be mounted and cleaned up a bit.

Oh. So. Close.

I guess I need to bring both bikes next time I come down. Looks good

Well, Michelle's brother came down with his RV to carry Michelle home to Ohio, so that she could spend her final days surrounded by loved ones. I am SO glad I went to see her last week while she was still in the hospital.

Michelle epitomized the poem below. It is titled "Attitude Toward Death". Rather odd to me, since it speaks more to how one ought to live...


"Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart.
Trouble no one about his religion.
Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours.

EDIT: Michelle passed away peacefully and without pain very early Sunday morning (Father's Day), holding her father's hand, of all things & was surrounded by her family.

Bump. Gonna go get lost this weekend, somewhere...hopefully will have some new pics of different places. Has been too long since I updated the thread.

You need to get away in the fortress of solitude. SO sorry buddy.

I did a bit over 500 miles this past weekend, but didn't snap a single photo (cause I was droning down the Interstate for the most part)...hopefully taking the backroads toward Beaufort might help.
