Hi, thanks, good to be here! :thumb
Been a long time lurker thou, the mega-DR650 thread been one of my favourites,
thought it's time to share some pics.

    Thank you.
It's a pretty diverse country for such a small place, so a dual-sport is very handy.
Funny, but the DR650 is not as common (as let's say the DRZ400, for an example), last model been imported was 2003.
And most offroad bikers go for the more oriented dirt bikes.

    Some more:

(Last one is actually on my old DR350, but i like the scenario... and it's still a DR, right?)

Thanks for the info..............I will keep a close eye on this, and remove it, if I see an issue.................

Should have the bike by noon today...........it is raining and wet, but............I am going to take it out and ride it anyway. I think it will be the perfect bike between my Vee and KTM 525.....................Hope it is.:D

If you see some nice grooves worn in it by the chain...

    Get rid of it.

Rode with a 4,000km old DR650 yesterday. The grooves were worn in over 3mm already.

This is my winter project, I have put Honda CRF 450 forks and Gary Emig of "Emig Racing" made the triple clamps and steering stabilizer. The bike has a Honda front wheel and a RMZ 450 rear wheel. Gary made the spacers for the rear wheel to work. Installed TKC 80 tires front and rear. Gary does nice work and if anyone is interested in
triple clamps or custom work his number is 816-847-1100 or emigracing.com

    Dirt Man,
Wow.....that's quite a project you put together.....looks good :clap

    DR650SEDDY,

Looks like you had a good ride. What do you use the pegs for that are mounted where the passenger pegs would go? They look to far forward for a passenger but it does look like you can adjust them.

They're spring loaded (I think) they sit behind your legs when you stand, making it less effort and more control.
    Can't remember what they're called.
A few used them in the Oz Safari.

    I think...

Oh ok..... I thought they might have something to do with standing. Spring loaded makes sense as that would provide a little more support.

    Very cool,

You're right they called leg-pegs i designed these a while back & made them done on CNC machihe it helps a lot when u stand riding specially going uphill and basically they were designed originally to release stress/effort of ur wrists & elbows by pressing the back or ur boots against them thus heping control the bikes with ur legs as well. I designed and installed them on my DRZ400 as well.
