I'm certain that some hoity-toity in Wofford Heights will let you drain a gallon or two from the Bentley...

Right before camp. Can't miss it. On the right hand side, Right across the street from Kern River Brewing. The supermarket is a good one too. Great meat dept, and lots of great food and supplies amd lots of firewood, beer and booze...Has a mini sporting goods store as well so stock up on BB guns and slingshots....

Two more hours of work and I am outta here! Coming in at 5am was a bit rough, though. :eek1

San Diego tonight, and Kernville tomorrow by noon-ish tomorrow, if all goes according to plan. :clap

IIRC, gas is a little cheaper at a station on the west side of the lake just north of 155.... its the Chevron station on the lake side of the road. At least, thats where I usually fill up when I'm incoming after coming over 155...

Is 155 clear? It was snowing east of fresno, location/elevation of snowfall similar to kernville /155.

I work for the gubbmint. I'm already in Kernville. I sent myself here 2 days ago to investigate Hazardous Waste Outreach programs around the State. This analysys should take about a month, then a pannel of other gubbmint workers in my office will analize the effectivenicess of my field research and determine if it was effective, followed by an analysis of the data I compiled, followed by a review of.....

    well..you get the point.

West of the James Market is a Stop N Go market with Gas Pumps. That usually has the lowest cost fuel... It's almost directly across the street from the Market gas pumps.

They also have a pretty good selection of beer but then so does the James Market. Kathy and I bought our supplement beer there when we ran out last year... amazing how much beer (and Coffee) you guys drink when it's snowing:rofl

Mrs J and I left Dixon about an hour ago. Just stopped for a pee break. We're going to get a room somewhere tonight and have a nice dinner. It's her b-day today. Should get to Kernville noonish tomorrow.

I rode over it in the snow more than once on a GS. You'll be fine. We're planning on going that way tomorrow as well since I don't really like 178. If you see a camper being towed by a school bus yellow Jeep going 5mph, you'll know who it is.
