Went for a ride from my house in elk grove ca on all back roads to near Tahoe. Chose the smallest roads depicted on google and went for it. Found some awesome dirt and gravel roads and ended up near Ice House reservoir. Beautiful place. [IMG][IMG]
Went up in the fire look out. Great view.

I will as soon as I get some more uploaded. I agree that the white one is better looking than the blue. They had both options there and the white just popped(plus it had the Akra exhaust). Rumor has it the white ones are the fast ones.

Holy buckets!!!! I just reread your post. You come all the way over for your services? That's dedication. By the time you make the return trip it's time for another. I guess that just gives you more riding time.

Trivia question: Where does this bridge go?

Look at the far end... ?!?

...you won't believe the answer (and only feet, mountain bikes and motorbikes are allowed on it :eek1 )

I can't explain it - dreamed of a blue one for years, and when I went to do the deal, I looked at the white one, changed my mind on the spot and bought it instead. Haven't looked back. Confirmed choice by slaying a blue one in tight traffic the other day...:D

Well plan around the week of the 19th for Dust 2 Dawson. Going to be there on my 955i Tiger again and doing the Dempster again. Yes I know I don't have a 990. Only due to a lack of cahones. I was worried about registering a German origin bike in US, now I know it would have been no sweat and still kick myself. So I ended up with an 06 955i Tiger for 5 grand.

This photo makes me insanely jealous. Currently saving to trade in my versys for an adventure. Hopefully within the next few months, but this is where I wanna be.
