I have this version of the tent.
I love it.
Although I don't do any stealth camping.
Hell, I don't do much camping at all.

A buddy has one of these... Grilliput - works great; packs very small (1" by 12" tube). I'll be picking one up before next trip.

That looks pretty nifty. I wonder why they don't have some type of wind deflector to go with it. I guess you could easily use some aluminum foil if necessary.

I'm about to set off on a road trip that should see me travelling for 6 months - i don't have a deadline

I've done a few trips of a months duration and have worked out what I need and how to pack it on my bike

I have included a couple of creature comforts in deference to my ageing body (eg chair and table)

i intend to spend most nights in the tent and should be self sufficient for a few days free camping if the opportunities arise

Total weight of the luggage including panniers, toolbox, water, engine oil and food is about 70 kgs - I won't be riding any sand

What's the big round circlular tool with the protruding hex?
It looks like the perfect hand tool to remove my 19mm front axle.

Congrats on being able to take that much time to ride and camp.

Couple questions about your kitchen gear. Are those two MSR stoves alike and use those fuel canisters? Why all the pots and pans?

I think it is the oil filter wrench.....

I kinda like the other use, a hand held axle remover.....

The three aluminium tools are made by Marc parnes ?? In the USA - the round item with hex protrusion is an oil filter tool and the smaller hex tool a front axle removal tool for bmw gs

The MSR stoves are both whisperlite universal models that run on bottled isobutane / propane gas, kerosene or gasoline

I have found gas to be more convenient than liquid fuel which can get a bit messy - it produces a lot of soot and you invariably end up smelling like fuel which isn't great when cooking dinner (liquid fuel would be the way to go when gas bottles can't be bought)

Why all the pots and pans?? - a man has to eat
I like to cook and eat "proper food" so like the convenience of two stoves and a frypan and saucepan - this gear is very lightweight and isn't as big as it looks in the pictures - the bowls pack inside the saucepan which packs inside the frypan....

Nice setup dude. Sounds like it's gonna be an awesome trip. Wish I had that kind of time...

Right case is for my clothes and netbook. Left case is for girlfriend clothes.
The camping equipment is in the rear black bag.. three-person tent, two air mattress, two sleeping bag, two silk liners, two pillows, two Alite chairs, complete cooking equipment, some dehydrated food for emergency, and a pocket shower (10 litres, can also be used as a waterbag).
And a small Moka to make *real* espresso
