Nascrap...hey, that's my coined term...that and Douche Nozzle. I did not read back far enough to see he wanted Euro-feeds.
LOL....Marco and the promise of hot sex from his hawt wife put that bike on the podium at P.I., not the BMW engineers. LOL
David Emmett ‏ @motomatters This is cool: helmets for all of the MotoGP riders for the 2012 season, on Telecinco website: http://t.co/aoLcXt1y
http://www.worldsbk.com/en/calendar-e-circuits/imola.html will give you the schedule of events (even letting you convert them to your time zone). You should be able to watch Superpole live on Saturday and all of the races live on Sunday. http://www.firstrowsports.eu/sport/motosport.html will let you know what is scheduled for the day. If that fails, justin.tv and http://mypremium.tv/ are good sources too. The only problem is, you have to catch them as they air live.
Eddie Lawson at Sepang back then, I worked for one of the sponsors back then and when I called American Road and Racing magazine for a copy of the photo, they gave me his manager's name and number out here in California. I called him and he sent me a slide to make a print for the wall of my office. Our CEO was walking by my office one day and spied the photo. Came in and looked real close, then asked why the company name was on the bike. (He owned the controlling stock in the company as one of the two founders.). I related to him what the connection was. And told him who the rider was. He seemed impressed. The cool part? After that when ever he came to town he would stop by and ask how racing was going. Kinda shook up my bosses a bit. Someday the print and I will be in the same place as Eddie, and maybe I can get him to sign it.
That's a cool story Mr. Head! Eddie was/is the man. He was my guy growing up, when it was hard as hell to follow racing, cause we didn't have the internet......and the Game Boy.........and the electricity........damn all these spoiled kids........ If it had two wheels and a motor, Eddie could ride it. And he did it so smoothly that it almost looked like he was going slow. I hope to be able to shake his hand someday.
Winter is upon us, I've finished the stormwater drainage (first decent storm coming in a day or two), I have 3 bikes in the shed all needing maintenance after a summer of abuse so I'm ready for the racing to begin! Rash prediction of the season: This year that short arse Aussie is going to be shown how to ride! Where's me Ducati shirt???
Here are my wild predictions (well, the first is not so wild): - Stoner to get a fast start - winning the opening 3 races, and then a have a poor patch. Ultimately winning back to back championships. - Pedrosa will lose his factory ride at season end. - Spies and Lorenso will battle it out all season for #1 spot at Yamaha - with Spies claiming second in the championship. - Rossi will be a regular podium finisher in the first half - and win a race in the 2nd half of the season. Third in the championship for Rossi.
For those that don't have the motogp subscription speed tv will now be showing live qualifying online.
