Nice bike, Calan818. I saw that bike at toronto car show and it's a beauty... hope to see you there at the tech day.
I plan to be early - i have more than enough banked time to take off work. Just trying to decide whether to use up my Rotella T from break-in or to buy some synthetic. (not sure if you need "motorcycle" oil or whether automotive synthetic is fine. I've read Mobil-1 or Castrol are good)... My parts arrived yesterday too - doo, spring, gaskets, rotor bolt, oil filter.. I picked up a K&N air filter too, since mines probably due for service anyway. Jody at DSP even threw in a hat
I'm going out on the F800GS at 11. Don't think I'm ready to give up my thumper yet, though! The Triumph Tiger 800 (road version) is one that piques my interest. I guess Triumph doesn't go cross-country with a dog and pony show. (I love the Scrambler too, but my next bike is going to have ABS). I saw the new Judge at Headingley last weekend also, when I went to buy a bolt to replace one that the road ate. Looks small! But to me any cruiser low enough to contraindicate wearing a wallet with a chain looks small I'm still looking forward to taking one for a boot in June, though.
I might be avaiable tell me where and when and then I might know if I can be there Flying out tommorrow afternoon. Jack
i wish i could come meet you guys at tims tomorrow, as its only 5 min from my house, but m in Saskatoon for 3 weeks
I don't think so Greg, I am out of practise since the KLR I have ridden for the past 5 seasons was firmly grounded. Not enough cylinders on it I guess.
