Torque settings HERE The BMW G650X Manual is available on DVD, Info Here I have the DVD and I think it's pretty good, a lot of menus and sub menus but I think all the info is there. I'd still prefer the Haynes type. If there was a specific piece of info you wanted from the manual I'd gladly look it up for ya.

I hate to say this, but i have stripped a few things already on my x-chal. I have had so many bikes the past years and never strip anything till I got the x-chal. Has anyone else stripped the handlebar clamps, mine kept rotating on rides no matter what till I eventually stripped it trying to get it solid. i love helicoil btw
Yip, I'm fairly sure id stripped the two top bolts that hold on the bash plate. (cross threaded into Aluminium).
I didn't know where to put this. I just installed a Moose shifter. Part# 1602-0015. I bought it from Thumper Talk Store for $30. It shows: YZ250F (06-08) YZ 450 (06-08) WR250F (03-08) WR450F (03-08) You have to remove the top footpeg mount bolt and loosen the lower to allow the peg to swing out of the way. Then it is just a matter of setting to fit your style and preference. It is a steel shifter w/folding tip. The hope is the shifter will bend before the shaft breaks. I will carry the stock as a spare on longer rides. Bert

I recommend anti siezing every steel bolt that threads into alum when you first get the bike. I had to torch my front skid plate bolts out a few weeks ago. I'm sure riding in the winter on the salt coated snowy roads didn't help

When you hit "new reply" or "quote" within a thread, and the screen comes up for you to type in your message... -scroll down a bit till you see the "add attachments" button... Hit that "add attachment" button. A screen should pop up to "Browse" to where ever your jpegs are on your computer. Pick one of your jpegs. (one at a time this way). Hit the "Upload" button and allow it some time. Once done uploading the picture "Close" that small sceen. Hit "submit" reply as with any message... Your text and pic should appear...

Let's list them here and then I'll copy them there: There are the 3 listed in the Must Do Mods. I also have the stalling issue which is from a pinched breather hose. Some have reported battery failures, but that's the battery not the bike. I've also listed the recalls. what else could we add?
