Sorry, but it has been "barely fair", to "not so good", for a few years,,now it is just poor!
When they opened the food was terrific, but the newness wore off, their business fluctuates drastically with the seasons, as does the food quality.
StevenE and I used to ride there for lunch from Redding. He liked casinos, so we checked out all of them over the years. Used to be a nice ride from Redding for a pretty darn good burger, but the last time we were at Ludlum I stopped in for one around mid afternoon,,not too many patrons, kinda slow, so no pressure on the kitchen, right?
Wrong!
burger was over 40 minutes wait, and lukewarm when served :huh, grease the fries were done in had 400,000 miles onnit,,in a MotoGuzzi transmission!
Even the lettuce was like me,,old and flaccid!
go gamble there,,play the red,white, and blue, "all 7's" machine just inside the door,,but do not go into the resta-raunch!
Pretty good cafe for breakfast in the boat basin, or that place (I can never remember the name) that makes the MONSTER burgers,,LostMan can clue ya on the best brekkie spots!

I have heard from Sector that she will not be able to be in Oregon until the week after this event,,

After reading the ride/party report from last year I'm kinda skeered, but totally in. Be gentle with me, it'll be my first time....

I'm thinking you must have gotten a tainted Oyster or some bad water possibly. Them Cactus Squeezins are pure as the driven snow. One thing for sure...you did a fine job of creating a new Super Fund Site in the woods next to the yard. At least you had your imaginary friends to keep you company....that would be EEEEAAAAARRRRRLL and CAARRRRLLLLL......
