In case anyones interested. I had a good test on wet pavement last night. The rear (K761) stuck really nice on straight roads only slipped if I gunned it. slipped a little on the curves. The front (K270) wouldnt slip I tried as hard as I could.
banjos, canoes, ozarks.....? Carefull you dont want to Cross Bo....ha ha get it? cross bo... nevermind
there was a video a few years back, a parody done by some comedy outfit, on deliverance. it was HILARIOUS the character for burt reynolds, just kept rocking back and forth and saying " crossbow" the entire video. ive been searching, but i cant find it, it was around 2008-2009 maybe.
I tested my tire on some wet pavement yesterday too, handle fine, but it slings muddy water up onto my rear luggage rack.. I guess because the profile is so much more "round" than the other tires ive ran. so far thats my only complaint. I even locked the rear brake a few times, just to see how it handled. much better than a tkc80 in the wet.
JT, Vee Rubber vrm 163 http://veerubberusa.com/motorcycle/viewsize.php?Pname=vrm163 on a GS, its hard to find a tire that will last that doesnt cost $200 http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=848856
If i can swing the time off i have two canoes that will hold a good load. Room for 3 more people for those that dont have one. i have always wanted to take the family down the whole mississippi river. takes a couple months. would be a heck of a trip
