Okay. First of all, the two-and-a-half year old is certainly advanced enough to sense the strife between her parents and be deeply effected by it. Toddlers are extremely aware of their surroundings, and they are all about stability and security. Anything that rocks their world at that age can have devastating results. While the younger one is probably less cognizant of the immediate situation, there is nothing to say that he will not be adversely effected long-term by things like protracted animosity between his parents and the public nature of his father's transgressions. Second, my initial post referred to more than just the children. You (and many others here) seem quick to dismiss Mrs. Woods' emotional stake in all of this, and I find that troubling. Why the assumtion that Tiger's wife is just another gold-digger who deserves what she gets? What if she really loved the guy? I'm sure she doesn't think of herself as disposable, and neither should anyone else.
