Front Page Photo Nomination Thread​

We would like to invite you to nominate a photo that can be used on the front page photo rotation of ADVrider.com.

Spend a few minutes admiring the front page photos slide show and you should have a clear notion of which type of pictures make it to the front page.

In order for your photo to be considered for the front page rotation, the following criteria need to be met:

1. The original photo needs to have been posted on this site. Photos scooped from another site will not be considered.

2. You may nominate your own photo or that of another inmate on this site. If you are nominating someone else's photo, please provide a link to where the post is located. Please be selective, post a picture, not a whole photo album.

3. Photo size is important in your post so post your picture LARGE. We can reduce the number pixels to fit the screen, but cannot increase it. If you are using smugmug.com, post pics in size Large or XLarge.

4. Submit the photo only once. Submitting a photo repeatedly will not increase its chance of being selected but it will increase your chances of making baby Jesus cry.

5. There should be no added text in the picture, i.e. no links to external sites, no individual names, logos or watermarks. We will add your username to the photo if it's used for the Front Page photo rotation, as per the example below. If you are nominating someone else's photo, please be sure to include their username so we can add it to the selected photo.

6. Please do NOT quote pics to give it your thumbs up, +1 etc... All comments and quoted pics will be deleted.

If your photo is chosen, it will be edited and and the words "Selected for Front Page" or "Selected for FP" added to the bottom of your post. The selected photos will not appear instantly on the Front Page rotation. We will be adding a few photos every week to the front page and removing older ones.
