It's got a top mounted toolbox with a wired in brake light, tool roll, highway pegs, center stand, and driving lights. And brand new Avon Gripsters. Not sure about the doohickey. Any other mods/fixes that should be addressed? Subframe bolts? Etc?

Along the doohickey (believe Chicken had one for sale earlier in this thread), I'd say do the sub-frame bolts- either buy a kit online or source them from a local hardware store. Fastenal might have them in stock, also Ace Hardware etc. If you or your friend is near Gainesville swing by, we've been doing quite a bit of KLR wrenching lately and I expect that to continue this weekend. Also have a broke-ish bottom end that's great for explaining doohickeys and general target practice
