You laugh, but a guy I know from MI through the Subaru Forum races/raced scooters. Some of those guys are pretty fanatic about it. Not really my cup of tea, but looks like they have fun doing it.

Shasta, no way, the R1 was sweet. No worries there will be plenty more to come.

Then here is the next project for me. As alluded to earlier today.

    Project Blasphemer 2.0 $100
74 honda ct70 (minus the motor)

hopefully will get it running here in a few days with a motor I have on the bench.

    You are correct!! :deal

just gotta get through this rough patch and then maybe end of next year I can start thinking about a bike again.

Definately not going the sportbike route again. Going to go back to something the wife can ride with me on since we are not going to be able to afford two bikes for us to ride for a good while.

Maybe back to a FJR, C-14 or maybe even something thats alot of fun around town......a new Gen II Vmax. :evil

Yeah Bogie! You just need to buy shitty bikes like the ones I have!

But I do have to admit that I'd rather have one new V-max than DR650s :lol3

true but wheels is wheels. dr650 will get you anywhere. Just not in style like a klr or a R1 or a vmax or a magna. If you like vmax v4 power you ought to buy a v65 magna like G's same motor feel at a lot smaller price. or a VFR 800 which is a v4 as well. Hell I would rock anything with 2 wheels.

Doh, you bastard, I wanted that. I even emailed that to Chris, he was gonna pick it up if the 'guy that's coming thursday night' didn't get it. Oh well. Good luck getting it running. You & Chris can be the trail 70 contingent of the 'gang' heh

FYI the 125 chink motors hate abuse and REALLY hate nitrus....seriously. After hearing a friends story about his, I will not put one in my new trail 70 freebie I just got. Granted mine turns over as well.

Lifans may be okay for putting around, but if you plan to hammer on it like we did with my friends, buy a honda motor.
