Also, good to see Helder had a good finish. Hope to see HRC clawing back some time the remaining stages.

But imagine their joy at the end of the race if he wins this one, it is turning out to be the most hard-contested race of the last 10 years for manufacturer's bragging rights. Maybe Cyril is not only conserving energy by riding at 80% but also the bike.

Sure, but still I think that 6 mins is a bit much then.

Boas pessoal!

Good folks! In today's stage went to take advantage of the fact that starting further back. The special was shorter and early on I was stopped about 3 m a trialeira, I was overtaken by a number of riders and then with the existing powder not ventured too ending in 14th place. Tomorrow's stage is long, and I'll try to recover positions! Hug

:nod I think Cyril's in the catbird seat right now.

All the "fast in a flash" guys are behind him now, all with him riding well within his comfort level. I think his nearest concern behind him is Chaleco, 7'30 in arrears already.

Pain and Casteu both seem pretty smooth at this point, but my guess is that Cyril feels he can haul them in at will if he elects to push. Let's hope David's luck holds, as it certainly has not over the years.

And right there we have the difference between Marc Coma and Despres. Depres is worried about everyone else. Coma would be pushing out front everyday, increasing his lead by 3-5 minutes.

229km's of racing, then 225km's to the finish with a huge up hill from the last refuel. Honda's better be in Prius mode on the neutralized section!!

I think he'll wait till after the rest day, when everyone else is falling off, he'll begin to pull away.

Could Cyril also be trying to preserve the motor. Without going 100% the whole race could they finish on 1 engine and save the 15 min.?
