Photos from Michaux SF Pennsylvania

Does anyone have any tracks of michaux , I'm doing a ride there this summer and u guys seen to know ur way around.

I haven't saved tracks from rides in Michaux because it isn't really that big. You could ride every road in a day, especially now when many roads are gated shut.

Use the link (a few pages back in this thread) to the official map, or better yet, pick up a paper map for free at one of the forest or park headquarters. Garmin and Google maps cannot compare with the official paper or online map for the Pennsylvania state forests.

Jeff (SEPARider) turned out some routes called "best of Michaux", which I converted to Tracks (or was it routes?)
Jeff's package also includes lot of information for everything from Fuel to food to parts.

Another way to learn is show up to the Thursday Evening rides. I hope Denny host them again this year .

I might even have a bike up there next 2 weekends.

Just remember, you will probably see some dirt Trails, but your not allowed on them with a motorcycle. ATVs only.
Motorcycles are only allowed on roads that are open to automobiles.

Great pics that always make me hate living in florida

I'm getting ready for the start of this year's Thursday evening ride. Last year was our first and the attendance was light. How about giving me input on what would make this ride more appealing?

Would a different starting spot be better?

That is an issue, but what's better for me is worse for someone else. I'm two miles from the I-76/I-81 junction.

What time do you depart?

TW oil leak... resolved. I replaced the right side engine cover gasket and no more leak.

Now I just need to finish tuning the carb. I hate carbs.

Using Shippensburg as a starting point would be good for me and the rides could cover Buchanan and Tuscarora State Forest as well as Michaux State Forest. So would this new starting point work for everyone?
