Ill pay all day to play :deal

Im keen to try the Mitas C02 or the Stoneking on the bike. Might not see much mileage either, but they are very cheap.

Here's a recent trip on my 950 SE. 300 mile ride to a local ghost town (Swansea). I hopped on the SE after my 990 developed cut out issues on the driveway.......it's nice having a backup LC8 bike :)

Any way, this was my first real ride on the bike where I wasn't adjusting suspension and what not.

Forgot to mention, GODDAMMITT this bike is fun!

    Oi! My old Adv :)

The Stoneking was tops on the Adv, except on wet rock/slick rock. In mud, shale, loose stuff it is king :) On road it is a little hairy.

On the SE I find it a "race day tyre", i.e., the side walls are so stiff you get great performance out of it while the knobs are fresh/new/square, but after that it is a bit wild...

MT21 on the back is what I'm trying now on my SE. And front too... Good and tested compromise on the front MT21 so sticking with those.

Still the Conti Trail Attack for summer road riding though :)

Blacked out the rear rack and grab handles.

    Front engine supports are next.

    Aah! cool!

I took a half worn C02 off the XRR and slapped it on the SE for the fun of it. I took it out to the dunes and was very impressed. I had it on gravel and it had great controlled slides. Wheelies are little sketchy on tar as it spins up a lot.

I like it and would like to try a new one.

I don't know how easy it is to take the Rotopak mount off to make the rear plate more generally useful. As an effective alternative, I use a pair of small RokStraps cinched down tightly. In over 21K I've never had it/them move, even when I've got stuff stacked on top.

What's the purpose of the bungs/buttons on the plate?

Good thought, but my rotopax will always go with, which in turn is a flat surface, then my soft bag will go on top.

But you're right, the rotopax mount is not a quick removal.

Those rubber buttons are so the rotopax doesn't chafe into the powdercoat.
