Leaving Sunday with a UHaul to Orcas Island,WA with the Tiger in tow. Gonna take 12-14 days to come home the long way, the map is just a guideline, plan to hit as much dirt as possible, I'm sure there will be pics posted somewhere

    The longer way home

Oh and i finally got the tiger rebuilt after it's little accident last fall, kinda like the black...

Had a rough weekend. The plan was to ride out to wendover via lucin, all was good until we tried to cross the flats just before wendover. The road looked dry and even had sections where sand was blowing across the road. Obviously there were sections of wet too. But overrall it didnt go as planned and we spent the night trying to dig ourselevs out of the mess I got us into. 2 burnt clutches, 2 broken low front fenders and mud that was like playdough. [IMG]

We were so stuck and with smoked clutches we had to call the wife to bring a trailer to wendover and retrive us. Problem was she couldn't get the truck down to us so we were on our own to get us out of the predicament. We had one bike with a good clutch so I swapped 2 good plates into the other 2 bad bikes and that allowed us to gimp out.

In one of the many low speed wrecks my son broke his top box, here it is being burned in hopes of making a black smoke signal fire for the wife to see. FYI innertubes make far more smoke :D

Where did you start out from? How was the road until cut across the flats?
