Thats a walking harness with the leash ring on the chest-I clip that to a short chain hooked to the kickboard and a leash clipped to the collar goes back to the rear top strut mount. I tried without the second leash and she pitched out in a corner:eek1

One dog along I can use a double leash when both dogs are along we are down to one per. I have had to haul the little one back in once. we have both learned since then.

I need to get a better floor in the car to give him some better grip in the corners but overall he was pretty cool with his first ride.

Our boy Kodiak on his first hack ride (September). We haven't been able to keep him out of the sidecar since!

Pleasant morning's ride to breakfast to Smarty Pants with Pomme De Terrorist (XT), Dr Jim (BMW HackPanzer), Moi (Ural) plus Coyo the Monkey-dog. Smarty Pants has a dog friendly patio; a favorite with Coyo.

I'm glad you posted the second pic enlarged. I thought is was a pot-bellied pig on the seat at first. :-) I have a fat, black schnauzer that sure looks like one, as well.

Just got my hack a week ago. One of the reasons was to be able to ride and still take Ginger along. She loves to ride in my van but I wasn't sure how she would take to the sidecar.

So far she seems to be doing just fine. So, I invested in a harness and a pair of goggles for her. Will post pics of those when I get a chance to take them.

I'm thinking of taking the seat bottom out and putting her small bed in there and see how that works. Would probably give her a little more room. She's 11 years old and contracted some sort of immune deficiency disease a year ago. She almost didn't make it but she pulled through but has lost a lot of her strength.
