Thanks for sharing the races! Some of us have this thing called work that gets in the way... way too often.

Guintoli reminds me of Hayden... consistently on the podium but not winning too many races. We'll see how it ends up in the end.

Kawasaki may plow serious money in to get this championship. It would be a great feather in their hat.

A tight series is to our benefit... exciting!

    Yes, thanks again.

What's really curious is that from a US perspective (I'd be interested to know if it's that way with other countries) the bikes that are competitive in the US are nowhere in WSB and vice-versa. Same with Supersport.

You'd think the light bulb would go off with the organizing bodies to finally normalize the rules between country and world competition. This would provide so many advantages: the manufacturers with better investment/advertising leverage; better, larger, and more diverse grids; better show for the fans; "progression" of riders rising through the ranks; and really answer some talent questions. It would probably encourage more manufacturers to get involved. It's so unfortunate how many manufacturers don't compete in the US :(:

And all this without any downside.

And while on the subject- know one AMA/DSB feature that I'd like to see applied to WSB (and all other classes)? Paying a point for pole as well as a point for leading most laps.

I thought the stated aim was to let them focus on scooters in emerging markets.

It's OK mate. We've got room for him here, same as Casey. 220 tonnes, that's a LOT of turnips!

That's not actually Aus Superbike, but Formula Extreme. The test (or certainly TB's appearance there..) was more to do with the end of season,$ winner take all, 500km Endurance Race. Run under FX rules, and also the race we talked about recently regarding Mat Mladin, who would be teaming up with Allerton on the Beemer.
TB was testing with long time privateer, and Ducati only rider Craig McMartin.Good mates, should be a good team. Lots of other fast riders will be there, like Brock Parks, Kevin Curtain....and if these guys are involved, who knows who could turn up during the Northern winter?
Looking forward to it. It'll turn into a 500km full on sprint, for sure!
    Stay tuned.....

So is it a one off race? Sounds pretty cool, especially considering the interest it is drawing.
