The NorthWet Name the Location Thread

I ran into Towerman (Paul) there in early June. His crew was running pipe to the top. I saw him later that week at the Enterprise gathering.

I believe Wolf Mt LO is the tallest Lookout in Oregon at 108 feet. I believe this is the tallest structure in Oregon at over 600 feet which is taller than the Wells Fargo building in Portland.



Use to work there and had to go up inside the stack on a regular basis to check and work on the pollution monitoring equipment. There is an elevator half way up and a very long ladder the rest of the way. :eek1

Looks just like the building in Friend!

We were riding around one day and saw signs to "Friend" and had to check it out.

I was kind of joking, thought there were more tree's around that building! :huh Okay let me go dig up a photo, I know just the one!

This one might be very easy but this little building has a great view! Just looking for the name of it's location.

Really, no one has seen this? You can ride to within 200' of this spot. And if you did ride to this spot I can't imagine you not walking right by it, or using it! But it does look kind of new...

can't says I have.. guessing it's along one of the OBDR routes.. maybe it's to new for most to recognize. Last time I did the OBDR was 2005. how about some hints? like which range/forest is it in? Blue? Deschutes? Ochoco? Malheur?

I don't know where that outhouse is either.
I used an outhouse near Otter Lake years ago that has a view almost as nice as that. This outhouse was special. It had the throne (seat) but NO WALLS.
