This HAS to be a record for Blake's quickest "Pass-Through" (Not counting Mexican food, of course :lol3 )

Ok, be honest, Blake: why isn't it staying in your stable? :ear

It might be there for years...

I just found a nice example of the bike that was at the top of my search list.

I'm not throwing this under the bus, or putting it up for sale in any serious fashion - just seeing if anyone local wants to take it off my hands.

Really Blake...perhaps you should consider opening your own retail MC shop for cool bikes to satisfy your inner need to buy & sell. :D Can't imagine folks in the area would be extremely supportive.

I'd like to see your dynamic list. That way we could play along with you. That W is one of the only non triumph well done modern retros, I was sad that they didn't do better over here. I'd be surprised if it doesn't move ...........

PM sent on the W650 :D

I'd been eyeing that one in Canon City but the asking price was kind of high and I don't happen to have that much gold bullion on hand...

Back in the trailer market, more specifics this time:

    • I need something that will fit the Ural and the VStrom (the big hoss won't it in the van with the DR), so looking for 6+ feet wide and a decently long deck.
    • ~15" tires as it will see lots of highway use, spare would be a big plus.
    • Tongue jack, preferably with a wheel on it.
    • Ideally I'd like stake pockets on it, splitting the cost with my dad who needs something that can be used as a utility trailer. Of course I can rig something together with u-bolts if needed.
    • Ramps would be a big plus too.
Looking to spend around $1000, PM me if you have something, thanks,

    Geoff

    I just bought a beta 350rr......yehaw,
time to see if I like 4 strokes...?

Im putting my yz woods bike up for sale to recoup some costs.
I love this bike and have treated it very well, has it been ridden hard and crashed sure, but it has always been well maintained and cared for, and it has never let me down

This bike was a replacement for a 2007 ktm 250xcw and is a great woods bike. I bought it with about 10 hrs on it and have ridden it for about 3.5 seasons

it has a long list of stuff.

rekluse exp 2.0 (with a sunline clutch lever to regain lever adjustment)
    13oz Steahly FWW
    timing retarded 2 degrees
    clarke tank
    flatland skidplate and rad guards
    PMB kickstand
    FMF gnarly
    turbine core silencer
fatbars and a scotts mount (Im keeping the damper)
Hitchcock revalved suspension for fast trail riding (more XC than XCW in ktm speak)
stock springs so best suited for riders in the 180 range
head was cut by RB for proper squish
he also cut the slide a step leaner which really smoothes out the transition from 1/8-1/4 throttle and helps it run really steady at a cracked throttle in top gear, great mod for $15.
    steel braided front brake line
and im sure im forgetting something

    comes with:
    extra twin air filter
and a couple bottles of yamalube premix
    stock take offs
    and some spares

topend was done fall 2011, with yamaha piston and rings
rear shock bearings replaced last winter
as well as greased the linkage and swingarm bearings
sprockets have 1 season on them
chain is almost new, but it is a funky red and non oring......came off of the beta I bought
has funky graphics but ready for a retro yamaha red white scheme if you dont like them

    needs:
a Wash but its like 10 degrees out
tires, they gave the little life they had to moab
one front spoke is broken from same trip, take it to woodys when you put whatever tires you want on it
rear shock is starting to weep, Niel hores at hitchcock can set you up for just over $100

just throwing it here cause im bored, Id prefer to clean it up real nice fix the things that it needs and sell it in the spring for quite a bit more
but since its january, and needs the things i listed im asking $2100

Selling my 2moto kit. Fits basically all KTMs except 08-11 450/505 SXF-XCF, and just needs a spacer for those as I have the extra sprockets, etc. Also have a few accessories- wheels for the track and ski, ski cover, etc. Great shape.

$2500 for you FFs ($4500 new). Offers/ trades considered.

    To answer the inevitable questions:
    - Yes, it's really fun. I'm selling because I won't have another chance to use it this winter.
    - The best part is making sweet carving turns- you can drag the handlebar all day long, thru trees, places that sleds cannot go
    - You cannot hi-mark/ use horsepower like you do on a sled. It climbs way better than you would think possible, but you have to be sneaky, rather than just blast at stuff.
    - I was in awe at what it would sidehill. Basically, if you could ski across it, you can 2 moto across it, plus you can climb while sidehilling. Super fun for going on recon in the backcountry.
    - Ideal bike would be 525/ 530/ 500. Chassis and suspension are unimportant, basically, it wants some grunt. I put it on my 450 and it was OK, but you have to rev the motor a lot since the 450 isn't as torquey as the long stroke versions...
    - About 2 hours to install the first time. Faster if you have a spare subframe as you have to remove the airbox.

Silverboy has a 525 for sale that would be an ideal place to mount the kit...

    Hello :wave

I have a set of R11XX OEM saddlebags (no mounting hardware). Originally off of a 2003 R1150 GS/ADV. Very good shape no cracks or leaks. comes with key (or you can re-key to your ignition key). Right side case has some surface scuffs, but no structural issues.

$300 for the pair for inmates. :deal
