I don't know where that is but that sure is a pretty picture. OK someone tell me where it is so I can add it to my list of places to see.

Well, Craig, without any real defining features (not fair :cry)...I'm gonna have to pick two.

Bridge Creek Rd (also known as Burnt Ranch Rd), Just past Cherry Creek Ranch, where I took this....

That looks close to your top pic....
This looks close to your pic also..

Or is it Twickenham Bridge Creek Cutoff Rd, where I took this....

Unless your pics are still on Gosner Rd.......
I don't really have any good pics of the valleys East of Horse Heaven on Gosner Rd, on the way downhill to Cherry Creek Ranch, but that area kinda looks like your bottom picture.

Between Donnybrook and Horse Heaven on Gosner Rd is where I took the shot below...

It all looks the same out there...:huh
Give us some landmarks, something that says....YEP ! That's the place :nod

Sorry I had to guess so many roads to get it, but to be fair, all the roads I suggested were within a 30 mile stretch,
and one juniper looks just like another out there.

Taken from a Gravel Road, smack next to this river, a long ways from the Hood.
This gravel road follows this river for maybe 15, maybe 20 miles, down a narrow canyon.
Once upon a time, this dam blocked this river completely, built by a logging company around the turn of the century.

    Name the road.

River's name would be a bonus, because I don't know the name of the river for sure,
unless it does share the same name as the road adjacent.

I lose again, because I don't know the name, but I'm guessing it's down there.

That's the splash dam on marble creek, south of FS 50 in the Avery, ID area. How about NF321? Is that the location?

ohhhhhhhh Pickle you know there's green things growing on the dry side and our roads aren't green.

OK going to go find a picture and see who we can stump Craig and maybe bring someone else into the game. :evil

OK I went to one of my ride reports from a few years ago to pull a picture.

Name the place and the closest town.

Since that might not be specific enough I'll give you a little more.

Here's a hint for Pickle because I know he'll need it: It's on the dry side. :lol3
