I saw the Mr. Buddy heaters at Costco the other day... It was a two-pack, one of the little ones and a bigger one. Didn't really check them out carefully, but probably a good deal.

Also, they had Hero HD helmet cams and SPOT II trackers....

for a space that small, you could use a couple of ceramic space heaters.

Actually, Mountain Eagle has a radiant electric heater for me to try. I wanted to go propane, as I'll have to run a cord out there for now- but I guess I will for lights, etc. anyway for awhile. It's a small space but it's a "tall barn" design, probably 12 feet high inside with a loft area... may be hard to heat.

Since the 380 became an instant parts bike virtually the day after bringing it home.... I've been pretty fortunate.

A couple of guys singlehandedly are taking a good bit of the bike, prices have been agreed upon, info swapped, etc.
A third expressed interest in the FMF pipe.

One is taking the frame, forks, and shock. Another is taking the plastics - shrouds, headlight/mask, rear fender/taillight, sidestand, and possibly the seat. Once I bring it back from Jeff's I'll be taking it completely apart and seeing what I need to come up with re: shipping the frame to the east coast UPS Ground. I imagine a small crate - will be on the lookout for something like a bicycle shipping crate.

That leaves the wheel/tire combos, brake/caliper/line combos, motor, carb (Keihin PWK 38), triple clamp, and miscellaneous bits and pieces.

    What forks on the 380?
They're spoken for now, but they're 50mm WP Extremes
    (conventional, not USD)

The FMF Fatty will have a new home too....just got another email.

Dang, maybe I should part out everything I sell :lol3

Ah, it must be nice with new bikes. Being able to sell stuff like the frame, lol. I'm so used to old stuff noone is interested in basic stuff like that so you end up just cutting it into pieces and tossing it.

    you consider a 1998 new? It's not ancient....but it's been around a while.

if that chassis didn't come with a street titled VIN, it would be a long term shelf decoration :nod :D

Naw, not a stalker van. Stalker vans are full size domestic vans anyway, preferably with a luv boat window in the back.

Anyone know where I might be able to find small gears in the greater Denver metro area? This is a drive gear for a 1950's light system that came with a 1950's aluminum tree. I'd rather keep it than replace it since this plastic gear is all that's broken:

Center hole is 3.2mm, and I think I counted 60 tooth. The slotted holes aren't used, nor are the 2 small holes.

I'm doing this as a Christmas gift for my wife, so really ANY kind of help/leads would be appreciated.

Brian: take it down to a hobby shop that has a bunch of associated & losi parts and you might luck into a sprocket that matches.
