Not sure he knows either ... That's been making the rounds in Porsche chats for a few years now. At one time I think it was listed for $ 32,000,000.00 A steal at half price !
I looked at one in Southern Cali back in the early 80's. It was modified a bit much for my taste and was too much $$$$.
If the dude got $1 for every forum post asking about his 'rare and amazing porsche', he'd would have made $12,000,000 already
Here's one of our old 911 taken at Ribblehead in the Yorkshire Dales a few weeks ago. We've owned her for around 10 years and toured all over Europe in that time but she's having to share our leisure-time with the Buell XB12X of late
My car on the far right a few weeks ago at a local cars and coffee type event. The Arena Red car on the left is a Ruf TurboR.
Love my basket handle, I have no plans to remove it. Some day the 95's that still have them will be the most sought after collectables. Yep, they are MY02's. I think they really modernize the look of these cars.
The factory actually thought of the original 911s as Oil cooled engines, sort of like the 1200GS. First 10, 15+ yrs the right rear fender of the 911 was a 12-14 quart oil tank. Expensive oil changes.
