It wasn't too bad, the 950's throttle was a bit too touchy on some roads. The 640 is much better in those conditions. I passed a couple of my co-workers who were out spreading salt on the county roads.

Look for a new tag in the morning after I change scooters

I did make it far enough to get in a 3 or so hours of riding. I rode over to visit the gang at Orrville Cycling where I thought about dropping the tag in Steve's back yard but couldn't come up with anything good and didn't want him walking there so I headed to a town named after a walking path where I bought a tank bag full of ____ Bologna and Cheese to go with what's going to happen when you find out this is on a gravel road.

It's North by NW of a burg in a county named after a porn star and the name refers to a beverage usually consumed with above mentioned cheese. The township it is in refers to a breed of horse that combines both the conformational characteristics of a western stock horse with a pinto spotting pattern of white and dark coat colors. Basically, if Gateway had used these instead of cows for a mascot, they's been way cooler

The 3 digit township road number adds up to 14 and intersects one that adds up to 13 just off a 2 digit federal route which numbers add up to 8. If you look at one of my previous tags, it is part of the same line who's monument is near the eastern most end of this tags reference. Of course, that tag may have been in the NEO forum. If so, you'd need to travel approximately S 85 deg W (in a west by sw direction) from Bolivar, Ohio until you pass this area.

Now that I have confused the crap out of you, good luck.

If you need more help, I'll post the coordinates of it's antipodes.

btw, the gravel is at only one end of the road, the rest has been chipped over with tar. If this tag is unacceptable, please let me know and I will re-tag it some place else.

Next, this statue is in the square of the county seat named after someone that would have operated the grinding wheel.

    Thanks Thomas

I recognized it by sight but the clues sure came in handy to jog my memory blank. Yep 670 to 671 on the Gravel Wing.

I play online and this is one of the few things I can do for fun. I really enjoyed this one because of the multiple clues, but I can't confim where it is because it's not visible on Google Maps. Is it on this road?

    http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=N+Chestnut+St&daddr=Township+Rd+671&hl=en&ll=40.625256,-81.703391&spn=0.02166,0.049567&sll=40.629979,-81.703241&sspn=0.010829,0.024784&geocode=FTLCawId-G8h-w%3BFasEbAIdZ0Ah-w&mra=me&mrsp=1,0&sz=16&t=m&z=15

Here's what I was able to figure out:

There are six Paint Townships in Ohio. The only county that has a Paint Township and has the Greenville Treaty Line running through it is Holmes County. Winesburg lies in the southwestern part of the township. The two-digit Federal Route is 62. North by northwest of Winesburg are the three-digit Township Roads are 671 and 670.

    Thanks!

    You figured correctly.

The John Holmes was for the dirty old men which you evidently didn't get.

With all the gun rush I'm thinking my window is coming to a close. I had ordered a 5.56 stag back in July and they have still failed to deliver. Anyone have a lower sitting around they would part with or parts to help a build?

Twas a long chilly ride, but I finished wearing out my T63. Downtown Millersburg. Not a great pic, the statue is behind the tree.

Next up is easy to find and get to. Pretty far south of the last one. Lots of creative ways to get there.
