True dat!

Apparently the road was set to open Sunday 5/12 but was delayed due to....? It's now rescheduled for 3 pm Thurs 5/16....but the folks I spoke with said no guarantees.....

My neighbor (an FJR guy) told me it was open this morning but it turns out his buddy had to drive back through Henefer in his motorhome.....

My ride was great! Very low water in East Canyon Reservoir to Henefer down to Morgan and looped back up past the reservoir again.....some pretty silly bicycle riders who thought they owned the road.....and the sheep were on the beaches, road and hillsides......pluric woulda loved it.....probably true of most of the inmates in this thread....

I assisted in the exportation of a nicely farkled 990 R model from SLC to Reno this weekend. My son Jess flew in Friday PM to pick up the bike along with a few items from the warehouse.

We made a quick test ride up to Guardsman for check out...



And a run to East Canyon. Hmmm, look at this...



With a need to be back at the salt mine on Monday so he packed it up on Sunday & headed west...

finally got bike back together and did about 380 miles this weekend from Fruita to Moab and back w 2WheelLust and my neighbor Bill. Great trip, Kokapelli was suprisingly dull at times but there was some decent single track and technical riding here and there. I have a tubliss inner tube fail, and some mechanical issues with the bolt that keeps a chain guide in place continually rattling loose on Bill's 04 450. Later in the trip he took a bad wreck and broke his tib/fib so we had to get the truck and pull the rip chord. But overall decent trip and a lot of fun especially in just 2 days...

mechanical #1 and my ass crack. At this spot bill's rear wheel locked up due to chain guide backing out and into his front sprocket. Skid about 30-45 feet managed to stay on bike and did well..

What happened with the tubliss?

Same thing that happens with most of them. Ive seen a lot of problems with the inner bladder failing. I think Pluric has some experience in that area maybe he can give us an explanation
