After a fine morning at the annual Alafia Rendezvous, Sanjoh & yours truly rode over to the greater Tampa area with the intention of moving Cosmo
to a spot more deserving of his status as an ADVenture rider.

Several miles of urban sprawl led us to a nondescript Marathon gas station near the Selmon Expressway.

I wandered out to the drop zone past the homeless guy living in the swamp behind the station and found Cosmo none the worse for wear.

We swept him up, gave him a comfortable seat in Sanjoh's Givi top box and headed back east.

On the way, I stopped at the Bhuddhist Temple to officially tag the place.

Tomorrow Cosmo will get a new home, hopefully very temporary. As long as the weather sucks just about everywhere except here,
us flatistan inmates should be able to give Cosmo a tour of Florida with sights more than what most tourists see careening down the interstates.

Thanks for actually tagging the Temple, which is the* actual TAG...not just the gas station.
    Looking forward to future locations.

Question: Is there a history of adding your screen name to Cosmo's svelte figure? I saw something about it mentioned.

After a delicious dinner of stuffed grilled peppers from the smoker

and a visit to my workplace, otherwise known as ADVmonster World Headquarters

Cosmo got a tour of my lovely little town Babson Park Florida, a diamond in the rough on the Central Ridge.
He is now lounging beside one of the "Babson Park Spires" that mark the gates of town along Scenic Hwy.

He is under a Palmetto, appropriately the state bush, seen to the left in this pic

This particular town marker is the one across from the private university in town.
Yes, we do not have a bank, gas station or traffic signal but we have a college. And this is Polk County!

Here is a shot from one of the markers at the south end of town. The orange trees are being replanted right here,
but it gives a good view from the top of the ridge.

Next to it is the road to Casa FL Pepper and my neighbor Hacienda Sanjoh.

It is an interesting road to say the least. That's the nice part, it gets much worse.

Only 1 person has made it down our road unscathed and that was on a 919 :eek1
If you are up for a challenge, come on down! :ricky

We like visitors, so if you are in the area, pm one of us and we would love to see ya.

Now if the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast would just come out of the Ice Age for a few days, it might thaw out some egg snatchers! Aren't there any egg sniffing Florida taggers?

Looks like Florida taggers are almost as rare as California taggers!

I guess it is the constant sunshine that causes Tag tedium. What they need is a good dose of cabin fever to force them out onto the freeways and taste that fresh air again.:lol3
