Why does Chris Berman's voice turn into an unintelligible trash compactor half way through a sentence?
For $5 million a year can't he afford voice lessons?

The broadcasters seem to think that they are on radio.
We have a picture of the game in front of us.
Every moment does not need to be filled with their incessant prattle.
Most people watching already know the game, it doesn't need a constant explanation.
But when the game is filled with replays and officials reviews it grinds you down.

Not everyone can be Jack Edwards.

Speaking of hockey douchebags: Pierre McGuire, Joe Bennanati(sp?) and Mike Milbury. Not a bit of hockey sense amongst the three of them despite years in hockey circles. You'd think just through proximal exposure they'd be halfway decent. Thankfully Vs.(NBC sports) seems to be moving Bennanati out the door. They should have a cage match between McGuire and Pang, I bet everyone in the audience would jump in to beat the snot out of McGuire. Milbury just needs to be sent packing by both NBC and CBC.

Yep. Jaworski and Grudin = entitlement. Just because you've been doing it awhile (think Mussburger) doesn't mean you belong on the airwaves. How about a special shout-out to Jim Grey?

Indeed. Madden was fun and Gifford was ok. It was fun watching the Miller experiment just to see how hard Gifford had to work on not bashing him with his microphone.

Anybody wonder why MNF ousted Fouts? Maybe he wasn't a big enough blow-hard for the booth and figured his audience knew a lot about what they were watching so he'd shut up instead of running his mouth all game? Jim Mora is the worst for that by far.
