Would recomend this part of Norway if you need some curve lessons with your sidecar hack.

    Hi Sveger,

just read the Gespanne issue, where the "making of" your red street toy was included.
I was searching quite deep in the pile!

yeah it`s allready been some years since the BMW R100GN project took place.
Good thing is, there have not been any problems with the chassis whatsoever. Have done 75000km since that article.

We have two Bandit projects in the works now. I was just complaining about the exhaust being on the right side.....maybe we need to move the shop to Wales or somewhere else.
    Nice outfit...very nice!!

The kind of bike you want to hang on to until you are so old that your grand kids stop asking you when you are going to ride your motorcycle one last time

Here's a pic of my 81 Vespa P200E with a California Sidecar. I used this as a commute vehicle here in snow country for several years. Top speed was about 55 on flat ground with no wind.

    Thanks!!

Turned over 480 clicks tonight. Bike is a blast to ride and performing beautifully (knock on wood!). Was shown how to drop the windshield tonight (thanks Dave!) -what a difference!

I can only hope either me, or the bike lasts long enough for grand children!!!

I'm loving the hack life! :ricky :beer

Last Saturday I did a Ride-Out for handicapped children in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1:place>Venlo</st1:place></st1:City>, the <st1:country-region><st1:place>Netherlands</st1:place></st1:country-region>. It’s one of the major ride-outs for handicapped kids in the <st1:country-region><st1:place>Netherlands</st1:place></st1:country-region> with always over 200 sidecars. Just for comparison, in my own village a similar run has “only” 100 sidecars. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

This year I had the same girl in my chair for the thirteenth time allready. It’s allways a great event for the kids. <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
I took some pics in the break. Nothing spectacular. Just 204 ordinary sidecars:<o:p></o:p>

Thanks for posting those pictures Richard. There were some fantastic looking bikes in that collection. Which one was the ordinary one? :D They all looked pretty good to me.

Richard, please post all the pics you can! It's mind blowing that 200 outfits showed in one rally.
In my life I dought I've seen to many more than 200 outfits. And I've been to the USCRA nationals twice.
Each sidecar is unique, so show details please. There is a movement in the U.S. but it's not in the same league as Europe.
Hannigan in Murray,Kentucky has it going on with their ZX-14 and Concours rigs but most every thing else is bolt on leisure stuff.
