Craig there is TONS of engine upgrades you could do....if so inclined, due to similar engine as the SV650 & the "lightweight" class of road racing & there knowledge. 80-100hp DL700 anyone??? :)

Not yet, Won't even start on that until I get back from colorado around Sept 25th. We'll be out there testing it all around the state. We'll have some great pics upon our return.

There will be many build options to help meet the demand. And it can be upgraded in stages.

Oct/ Nov I plan to do one more build as a "KIT" with all parts on hand to figure out time required and do install pics and video documentury to be included in the kits.

This is going to be awesome!

I also sat on it at the rally. I have a 36 inch inseam and thought it fit perfect. Awesome concept and execution.

Saw this up close at the Rally, and it is a nice piece! It seems to just work. I'll follow the development, could be fun to build one "just 'cuz you can!"

it's not my cup of tea, but I gotta say WOW! just the same. You've done a really great job with this! I love the V-Strom, and this kind of aftermarket customization can only strengthen the breed. I hope Suzuki is paying attention (but I doubt it).

The CO trip/TEST was great. The bike performed better than any V-Strom I have ever seen. It did the entire COBDR route in the mud and slop. Total trip was about 4,000 miles from WI and back. We have lots of pics and are working through them to get more posted.

I'm gone this weekend to enjoy and test the Christini AWD 450 in the north woods of WI before the snow flies, so hopefully next week.

I just wanted to let you all know that this build passed my Real world/Trails test and I will continue on the path to make this into a kit.

I already have 3 riders loacally kicking it around to build over the winter.

Late Oct we have another local DS ride, more setup for small bikes, (450-525s) but I think the tight turning radius and with a proper skidplate being completed soon, the CJD Super Strom is sure to turn some heads...... Oh ya..... I almost have a full spoked rim and killer knobby setup ready for this too.

I'm hoping with an 18" rear tire you'll get better tire choices that what you have in the 150/70-17. I guess if it was similar in size to what the KTM 950/990 runs that would work. I believe the 950SE runs an ever narrow rim for even better 18" tire choices, but I'm not sure how skinny you can go on the rear?
