Good Morning all, Yes I know it's afternoon, a SNAFU had me hung up this morning, sooo try #2..
I was great to finally meet some of the fellas in person that post up here, and that feel the same way that I do about Mexico! It is just such an amazing place, full of beauty, stark contrasts, wonderful people, great food, You get the idea!!

Puente Baluarte, bridging the states of Sinaloa and Durango. Soon to be opened.

SR took this photo on Saturday. We had lunch on the bridge.

For some perspective here's a shot of the rode leading to the above pic. Was taken last January from the Puente Baluarte.

    Hi Y'all! :D

What are some towns close to the pyramids of the Sun and Moon with a selection of hotels? I stayed in Pachuga last time, but I think there are some towns closer. I am in Acapulco at the moment, but will be headed in that direction via Morelia later today. Thanks!

Clearly the 24 hours I spent there was not enough. My stay was very pleasant but there is clearly a lot more to experience given a local ADV'er. I look forward to a return visit.

Anyone ordered their TVIP online? It is asking me for my entry date into Mexico. I am unsure of my exact date. If I am a day or three late (or early), will this be an issue? Does the date have to be exact?

    All the time.

Just enter México anytime on/after the TVIP effective date, not before.

Make sure Going South takes you to the rooftop bar at the Freeman.

A sublime afternoon watching surfers, ships, and a 360 view of Mazatlán.

Jim is a great ADV host and it was a perfect afternoon up there, followed by grilled lobster at Costa Marinera.

Thanks for the Kind words, Trice, it was my pleasure showing the three of you around town, I couldn't ask for a better group, and you are all fluent in MOTO speak, a big plus for me when people come to town.:clap

rocky-oyster, give me a shout when coming through town, I'll give you the .5 peso tour of this place, and first beer is always on me...:freaky

PM ahead all as I go in and out of town regularly for work..

    Saludos, Jim...
