    Bill,

I sumbled across these maps at Hi Country Motorsports in Glenwood, and bought a Utah one. They're excellent.

Say hello to Fred Butler from me. He might remember me.... :eek1

Thanks for the reply. And yes, I know of Big Twin.

Any thought of getting Cycle Gear to carry them? Lots of exposure there.

we have PLENTY of love for nm & az plus or & wa.
we had to start somewhere and so it was colo. and then it was the northern states with a much shorter riding season. those guys just got back from knocking out more nor. cal riding but i don't think they've done it all. my guess is some of the dry riding your direction might be knocked out this winter. we will have a nm map but i can't say when, sorry.

just did some emailing about the big picture and this is how it's gonna play out.

nor cal. gets finished riding & mapped and then talk of a full cali. planner map. sold with the so cal & nor cal maps as a 3 map complete cali experience package.

after that, or & wa get done so we can offer a west coast package with an included 3 states (cal., or & wa) planning map. so 4 maps.

then comes az & nm. sorry it's not sooner but that is how things are working out to be.
we take the time to properly ride & rate the roads and then produce a well done map so this is not an overnight operation. no short cuts ever taken!

    after az & nm???
we've talked about heading east to the land of the dragon. :ear
    and ozarklandia.

I have the SoCal map and its just stuffed with info. Most of which I already knew but still cool anways. But, because there is so much stuff, its very hard to read and impossible to use in your map case if your riding. You basically have to lay it out on a scanner/printer and reprint the sections you want and magnify the route. Its unreadable with riding with my reasonably good 42yr old eye sight..
But, other than that. Its cool.

guess you could also see it that your lucky to live a place with THAT many great roads. it's really a must do area for any street rider. nor cal will have just as many great roads and probably even more.

i do agree there is ALOT of detail we needed to pack in there, more than any other map to date. it took alot longer to produce this map. we did the best we could breaking the state up into 2 pieces. we felt 2 was ideal for what we planned to achieve.

don't forget the best of the best roads (G1) have additional larger blow-up detail boxes so we have maxed out details. glad you enjoy what we've done and i hope you find some new roads that need exploring.

    thanks, bill

I'm way late with this, but Potius Sero Quam Nunquam (or something)

I purchased a Utah map from these folks - there was some shipping oddities (not their doing) and they went over a above to make sure I got my map in time for my trip --

My wife and I ran Bonneville at Bub's, and then dropped down to the Moab area for the better part of a week.

Suffice it to say, local knowledge is always best, and the map seemed chock full of local knowledge -- given our short time in the area, we could do recon and then enjoy the fruits of our labor -- Bulter-boys helped turn what woulda been a good time into an EPIC time for us . . . . .thanks, gents!

    Now that's a deal!

I jumped on-line and ordered already. Now I can take all those lousy paper highway maps out of the tank bag and put them back in the car. Paper maps are good enough for cage driving, but not on the moto.
